Platte Canyon School District Cuts 13 Days From the School Year at Deer Creek Elementary.
Read the Official "unofficial" minutes of the Platte Canyon School District Board of Education (BOE). The BOE has supported cutting 13 days from the elementary school year next year to accommodate the 4 day school week, instructional time will be reduced by 96 hours for the year. The Rosalie property bidding process was briefly reviewed in which Mr. Schmidt eluded to a minimum bid of $875,000 and beginning next year Pre-K through high school students will all share the same bus route in the afternoon.
