Testing Results Released by Colorado Department of Education, Platte Canyon School Students Score Poorly in Math

CMAS and PSAT/SAT results were released last week by the Colorado Department of Education (CDE). Less than 50% of Platte Canyon School District (PCSD) students meet or exceed grade level expectations in math and only 35% of 11th grade students met or exceed state college readiness in math.

PCSD adopted new math curriculum last year, after receiving a grant from the state, in an effort to remedy stagnant math scores.
